What to Expect

You can expect a warm welcome, modern worship, and a message that’s real and relevant. There’s no dress code, no pressure, and no need to have it all together. Just come as you are and take a step toward what matters most.

Casual Atmosphere

At Heartland, we focus on the heart more than on the outward appearance. When you come to one of our weekend services, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts to a smaller number dressed more formally. Most people find themselves somewhere in the middle. Just be sure to dress so that you will be relaxed and able to get the greatest possible impact from our service.

Engaging Worship

When you step into a Heartland weekend experience, the overall tone you’ll find is one of celebration and joy, where we are holding nothing back in worship of our God. The energy level is high. The music is current and our worship band is incredible. We believe God uses the medium of music to lead us into the heart of worship. We place a great deal of importance on our music and all of our audio/visual presentations.

Relevant Teaching

At Heartland, we believe that the gospel is the foundation for everyday life. For that reason, it is the centerpiece of every worship gathering. Every worship service at Heartland is a passionate response to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is God’s revealed truth and is our personnel manual for living life. At Heartland, God’s Word is taught in a practical “hands on” fashion, so we can apply it to our daily lives.

Kids Will Love It Here

While you enjoy the service, your kids will have a space of their own to learn, play, and grow. Heartland Kids offers age-specific environments where children are cared for, taught about Jesus, and encouraged in their faith, all in a fun and safe setting.

Infant – Preschool

Smallville takes place during our 9:30am and 11:00am weekend services and is for babies through Preschool. Each week, kids experience age-appropriate Bible teaching in a fun, loving, and exciting environment. In Smallville, we work hard to provide a fun and safe environment that is “kid tested and mother approved”! Within Smallville we have three different age environments for your child: Birth-24 months, 2-3 year olds, and 4 years-PreK.

Kindergarten – 5th grade

BACKSTAGE is designed for children in grades Kindergarten through Fifth. These kids enjoy an action packed service that incorporates a large group atmosphere where relationship building, team competition, and small group application takes place. During the large group portion of the service, the children are taught an application-based Bible story, watch a drama/skit that brings to life the Main Point for the day, sing songs, and play lesson-oriented games. All of this occurs in an action-packed hour that’s sure to have your kids excited to return each week! Within Backstage, we have two different age environments for your kids: Kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd grade-5th grade. Backstage takes place during our 9:30am and 11:00am weekend services.
