A Biblical Picture of Community
In Acts 2:42–47, we see the early church thriving as believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, prayer, and generous care for one another. They gathered in homes, shared meals with glad hearts, and worshiped God in unity. The result? God added to their number daily.
At Heartland, we believe this picture of biblical community still matters today, but it doesn’t happen by accident.
HEARTGROUPS
Ready to take the next step?
Twice a year (January and August) we work hard to connect people to a group. Many times there is some availability to join at other times of the year.
In a busy, disconnected world, true community must be forged. It takes intention, commitment, and the willingness to show up. That’s why we have Heartgroups: small groups that meet regularly in homes across our community.
Heartgroups are where church becomes family. In these smaller circles, we:
Fellowship - build authentic relationships and share life together
Study - grow in understanding God’s Word and apply it to everyday life
Pray - support each other through intercession and thanksgiving
Care - walk alongside each other in both joy and hardship
Whether you're new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for years, there's a place for you in a Heartgroup. But community doesn’t just find you—you step into it.
Monday Night Discipleship Opportunities
Focused learning, meaningful discussion, and practical growth. These short-term classes are designed to help you take your next step—no matter where you’re starting.
In addition to Heartgroups, we also offer Monday Night Discipleship Opportunities throughout the year. These classes gather at the church campus and provide focused teaching in areas that help believers grow stronger in their walk with Christ. Offerings include Foundations of the Faith, Financial Peace University, Evangelism Training, and Stand to Reason Apologetics. These environments are a great place to dig deeper, ask questions, and grow in confidence as you follow Jesus. Check out our connect section for more details.
